To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9577, <br />Approving the Storm Water Permit for 4889 Old Highway 8, Villas of Mounds View. <br />A roll call vote was taken. <br />Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />F. Resolution 9578, Accepting Bids Received by the City of Coon Rapids, Joint <br />Powers Agreement for 2022 Crack Filling. <br />I 1 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council accept bids received <br />12 by the City of Coon Rapids for the Joint Powers Agreement for 2022 Crack Filling. He stated <br />13 back in 2017 the City entered into a JPA with Coon Rapids for street maintenance. He reported <br />14 this year only crack sealing would be done in Area H. It was noted the low bid for this project was <br />15 received from Allied Blacktop in the amount of $14,950.23. <br />16 <br />17 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9578, <br />18 Accepting Bids Received by the City of Coon Rapids, Joint Powers Agreement for 2022 Crack <br />19 Filling. <br />20 <br />21 A roll call vote was taken. <br />22 <br />23 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />24 <br />25 G. Resolution 9582, "No Mow May" Initiative. <br />26 <br />27 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council approve a Resolution <br />28 supporting the No Mow May initiative. He stated this was a pollinator friendly initiative and noted <br />29 many communities in the metro area were participating in No Mow May. Staff estimated it would <br />30 cost $250 to print signs for this program. <br />3I <br />32 Mayor Mueller asked how this program would impact the City's parks. Public Works/Parks and <br />33 Recreation Director Peterson indicated this program would only apply to residential properties, <br />34 not commercial areas or City parks. He explained the athletic turfs had to be maintained for safety <br />35 reasons. <br />36 <br />37 MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9582, "No <br />38 Mow May" Initiative. <br />39 <br />40 A roll call vote was taken. <br />41 <br />42 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />43 <br />44 H.
