Item 08A <br />June 13, 2022 <br />Page 3 <br />I would like to note Mr. Zimmer has also applied for a Mobile Food Vehicle license with <br />the City of Mounds View that will feature the cuisine offered at Kusina. The vehicle is <br />proposed to be parked in the parking lot at Filipino Village. The Mobile Food Vehicle <br />license requires administrative approval only. <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: Our licensing ordinance and its requirements along with <br />the renewal applications listed relate to our Vision Statement; "...welcoming a desirable <br />destination to all ages and cultures... and a place where residents can live, work and <br />play safely" and by approving the license renewals the City will "....maintain a positive <br />business climate where businesses want to locate and remain in Mounds View". <br />Financial Impact: None <br />Recommendation: Staff is recommending that the Council approve license renewals for <br />the businesses listed in Resolution 9595 (Exhibit A) for the period of July 1, 2022 to <br />December 31, 2022 contingent upon any delinquent water/sewer bills being paid. Please <br />advise staff as to what your direction is for Advanced Disposal Services and Tobacco <br />View. <br />Staff also recommends approval of Resolution 9601 approving a Class B Restaurant <br />License for Mr. Scott Zimmer to operate a restaurant at 2408 County Road I, within the <br />Filipino Village, pending any Mounds View building and fire inspection and Ramsey <br />County approvals.
