MOUNDS VIEW <br />City of Mounds View Staff <br />Item No: 08 D <br />Meeting Date: June 13, 2022 <br />Type of Business Council Business <br />City Administrator Review <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Brian Beeman, Assistant City Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 9600, Adopting 2023-2025 Strategic Plan <br />Introduction: <br />The City Council has been engaging in its 2023-2025 Strategic Planning process. The City Council reviewed the <br />DRAFT 2023-2025 Strategic Plan at its March, April, May, and June worksessions. Staff has made all edits as <br />directed. <br />Discussion: <br />The City Council reviewed the final Strategic Plan at its June 6, 2022 worksession. All edits have been <br />incorporated into the final version as directed and a resolution has been prepared. The 2023-25 Strategic Plan <br />will be effective January 1, 2023 and end December 31, 2025. It is anticipated that the 2026-28 Strategic Plan <br />review and update will start around February 2025. As, the Strategic Plan is a three (3) year plan. <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: <br />Adopt the 2023-25 City of Mounds View Strategic Plan. <br />Financial Impact: <br />Much of the Strategic Plan will require capital resources in order to successfully plan, implement, and successfully <br />complete the overall Vision and Mission of the City. An overview of the main expenditures can be found in the <br />"How We Get What We Want" section.
