MOt-NDSViEw <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />Item No: 5.C. <br />Meeting Date: June 13, 2022 <br />Type of Business: Consent Agenda <br />Administrator review: <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Rayla Sue Ewald, Human Resource Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 9605, Amend Part -Time Front Desk Lead and <br />Part -Time Senior Program Coordinator Positions by <br />Increasing Wage <br />Introduction: <br />Staff had been competing with other organizations to fill vacant part-time and summer seasonal positions. <br />In order to have a successful community center, wages were increased in May, 2022. Since that time, <br />staffing has been successful for the Parks and Recreation Department. However, the Front Desk Lead and <br />Senior Program Coordinator positions wages were not considered in May for wage increases. These <br />positions give work direction to those whose wages were recently increased. <br />Discussion: <br />The HR Committee gathered and discussed the wage difference between the staff members, and the <br />information was discussed during the June Work Session. Council consensus was to raise the Front Desk <br />Lead and Senior Program Coordinator positions wages to $18.00/hour.
