Resolution 9597, Approving the Hire of Karl Bridges to the Facilities <br />Maintenance Position. <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council adopt a Resolution that would approve the hire <br />of Karl Bridges to the Facilities Maintenance Position. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9597, <br />Approving the Hire of Karl Bridges to the Facilities Maintenance Position. <br />Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />Council Member Cermak reported last Thursday the Mounds View Police Foundation held a <br />fundraiser at the Manitou Grill. <br />Sherry Gunn, 5485 Landmark Circle, explained she was the president of the Mounds View Police <br />Foundation. She thanked all of the members of the public that visited the Manitou Grill last <br />Thursday and stated $720 was raised from the bake sale. She noted an additional $600 was made <br />at the Lions garage sale. <br />Council Member Meehlhause noted he would be attending an NYFS board meeting on Thursday, <br />May 26. <br />Council Member Bergeron commented he attended a Nine North Cable Commission meeting last <br />Thursday. <br />Acting Mayor Hull opened the meeting for public comments. <br />44 Andrew Oltmanns, 5373 Jackson Drive, explained he has been a resident of Mounds View for the <br />45 past 10 years. He commented over the past 10 years he has witnessed two police chases on Jackson <br />46 Drive. He stated he has families that live on his street with children. He discussed how people run <br />
