RESOLUTION 9603 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION APPROVING A MASTER PARTNERSHIP CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW AND THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation ("MNDOT") wishes to cooperate closely with local units of government to coordinate the delivery of transportation services and maximize the efficient delivery of such services at all levels of government; and WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View ("City") wishes to establish an on -going relationship with MNDOT for the provision of certain services; and WHEREAS, MNDOT and the City are authorized by Minnesota Statutes, sections 471.59, 174.02, and 161.20, to undertake collaborative efforts for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of state and local roads; and WHEREAS, the parties wish to be able to respond quickly and efficiently to such opportunities for collaboration and have determined that establishing a master partnership contract (the "Master Agreement") which shall outline the roles and responsibilities of the parties in relation to future projects is in each party's best interests; and WHEREAS, the Master Agreement provides the general parameters of work to be undertaken by the City and/or MNDOT, and future projects will be subject to written work orders, unless the Master Agreement expressly provides that no work order shall be required based upon the nature of the requested services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. The City of Mounds View hereby enters into a Master Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A. 2.
