RESOLUTION NO. 9597 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF KARL BRIDGES <br />TO THE POSITION OF FACILITIES MAINTENANCE <br />WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council the Facilities Maintenance <br />position was advertised; and <br />WHEREAS, six applications were received and four were invited to interview for the <br />position; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bridge's skills and experience were determined to most closely match the <br />duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bridge's BCA background and hiring assessment were successfully <br />completed the week of May 16; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bridges will begin at Step 1 of the 2022 pay plan or $19.54 per hour; and <br />2022 Hourly Wage Schedule: <br />Step 1 <br />Step 1.5 <br />Step 2 <br />Step 3 <br />Step 4 <br />Ste 5 <br />$19.54 <br />$20.15 <br />$20.76 <br />$21.98 <br />23.20 <br />$24.42 <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bridges will begin employment on or around June 6'h, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bridges will be subject to a six month probationary period and eligible for <br />a wage increase to Step 1.5 of the City's pay plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby <br />approve the hire of Karl Bridges to the position of Facilities Maintenance, at Step 1 of the pay plan <br />(currently $19.54/hour) and with employment to commence on or around June 6, 2022. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of May, 2022. <br />Carol A.
