Minnesota Predatory Offender Registry <br /> <br />v1.10 (June 15, 2022) <br /> <br />LIST #1 STATUTE <br />Comparable violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice <br />Comparable Federal Offenses <br />Comparable Offenses from other states <br />Civil Commitments 253B.185 or <br />526.10 <br />(or a similar law in another state) <br />Not guilty by reason of mental illness + commitment 253B.18 (or a similar law in another state) <br />Guilty, but mentally ill + commitment 253B.18 (or a similar law in another state) <br /> <br />Who is Required to Register Under the Crimes Against the Person Statute? <br />Pursuant to M.S. § 243.167, anyone previously convicted of or adjudicated delinquent for an offense listed on List #1, but who was not required to <br />register at the time of conviction or release from imprisonment because the registration law did not apply to them at that time, is required to <br />register if they commit a “Crime Against the Person” on or after July 1, 2000, and are convicted of an offense listed below (List #2).
