ORDINANCE NO.991 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 110.017 OF <br />THE MOUNDS VIEW MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO <br />TEMPORARY ON -SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSES <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends section 110.017, <br />division (F) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the underlined language and removing <br />the str-icke language as follows: <br />F) Temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor licenses. A temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor <br />license may be issued to a club or charitable, religious or other non-profit organization which has <br />been in existence for at least three years, a political committee registered under M.S. § 10A.14, as <br />it may be amended from time to time, or a state university, in connection with a social event within <br />the city sponsored by the licensee. The license may authorize the sale of intoxicating liquor on - <br />sale for not more than three four consecutive days and may authorize on -sales on premises other <br />than premises the licensee owns or permanently occupies. The license mayAl {All Vl V lV event sponsored or approved <br />provide that the licensee may contract for intoxicating liquor catering services with the holder of <br />a full year on -sale intoxicating liquor license issued by the city or any adjacent municipality. <br />Licenses under this division (F) are not valid unless first approved by the Commissioner. Pfoof-e€ <br />SECTION 2 In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the <br />following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance, which <br />clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: <br />On June 6, 2022, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 991, An Ordinance Amending <br />Section 110.017 of the Mounds View Municipal Code Relating to Temporary On -Sale <br />Intoxicating Liquor Licenses, which allows the city council the ability to issue temporary <br />on -sale intoxicating liquor licenses in accordance with all rules and provisions contained <br />in Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.404, subd. 10(a). A printed copy of the ordinance is <br />available for inspection during regular business hours at Mounds View City Hall and is <br />available online at the City's web site located at www.moundsviewmn.org. <br />SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days from and after its passage <br />and publication, in accordance with Section 3.09 of the City Charter. <br />MU210-75-797935.v2
