RESOLUTION NO. 9615 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR <br />POLICE OFFICER MELISSA KLUKAS <br />WHEREAS, Police Officer Melissa Klukas has resigned from the City of Mounds View; <br />her last day of employment was July 26, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View <br />and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 204, Officer Klukas will receive <br />a cash payout of her vacation hours and compensatory time. Officer Klukas' has a balance of <br />accrued and unused vacation of 66.99 hours and compensatory time balance of 0.00 hours; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual, 50% of Officer <br />Klukas' sick leave hours will be deposited into her Retirement Health Savings Plan. Officer <br />Klukas has a sick leave balance of 161.19 hours (50% = 80.60 hours); and <br />WHEREAS, Officer Klukas' rate of pay upon resignation was $42.30 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />separation compensation to Officer Melissa Klukas consistent with the Labor Agreement <br />between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc.
