Authorize Staff to Allow for the Posting of Two Facilities Maintenance <br />10 Positions within the Parks and Recreation Department. <br />11 <br />12 City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council make a motion to allow for the posting of <br />13 two facilities maintenance positions within the Parks and Recreation Department. <br />14 <br />15 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Authorize Staff to Allow for the Posting of Two <br />16 Facilities Maintenance Positions within the Parks and Recreation Department. <br />17 <br />18 Ayes — 3 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />19 <br />20 B. Resolution 9620, Authorizing Employee Health Benefits Pool Membership <br />21 Agreement and Bylaws. <br />22 <br />23 City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the Employee Health Benefits Poole <br />24 Membership Agreement and Bylaws due to a name change as Sourcewell has changed its name <br />25 to Better Health Collective. <br />26 <br />27 MOTION/SECOND: /. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9620, Authorizing <br />28 Employee Health Benefits Pool Membership Agreement and Bylaws. <br />29 <br />30 Ayes — 3 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />31 <br />32 9. REPORTS <br />33 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />34 <br />35 Council Member Cermak reported the Police Foundation would be meeting on Tuesday, August <br />36 9 at Random Park at 5:30 p.m. She explained the group would be finalizing plans for Festival in <br />37 the Park. She stated on Saturday, August 13 the Police Foundation would be hosting a brat sale <br />38 at Von Hanson's Meats in North Oaks from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. <br />39 <br />40 Council Member Meehlhause stated he would be attending three convention bureau (Twin Cities <br />41 Gateway) meetings over the next two weeks. He commented on the Smith Travel Research <br />42 Report noting June was a great month for hotels in Mounds View as well as all member cities. <br />43 He explained Twin Cities Gateway had the highest occupancy rate in the Twin Cities, the State <br />44 of Minnesota, and throughout the entire United States for the month of June. He anticipated July <br />45 would be another great month for Twin Cities Gateway. <br />
