In order to help out the <br />Parks and Recreation Department while staff seeks a replacement, Mr. Thibodeaux has <br />generously offered to work remotely up to 15 hours per week on a part-time basis. <br />Discussion: <br />Staff is requesting to start an open recruitment process for the vacant Recreation Coordinator <br />position. Staff is appreciative that Mr. Thibodeaux has offered to work remotely. The City would <br />need to provide a laptop, cell phone, and connectivity for remote access. The Public Works/Parks <br />and Recreation Director has agreed with the request, and the information has been shared with <br />the HR Committee. Additionally, Mr. Thibodeaux, may be available to assist with training in the <br />new hire (Darryl would stay at his current wage of $28.48/hour.
