RESOLUTION NO 9622 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZE A RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR THE RECREATION COORDINATOR <br />POSITION AND CHANGE THE EMPLOYMENT STATUS OF DARRYL THIBODEAUX <br />FROM FULL-TIME TO PART-TIME <br />WHEREAS, Recreation Coordinator Darryl Thibodeaux has resigned his full-time <br />position at the Parks and Recreation Department effective August 26, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Thibodeaux has offered to continue working with the City in the <br />same position in a part-time capacity, up to 15 hours per week, with the City providing a <br />laptop, cellular phone, and connectivity for remote access beginning effective August 27, <br />2022; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff would like to begin the process of advertising for a full-time <br />Recruitment Coordinator position using the City's 2022 Hourly Pay Plan: <br />2022 Recreation Coordinator Hourly <br />Pay Plan <br />Step 1 I <br />1.5 <br />Step 2 <br />Step 3 <br />Step 4 <br />Ste 5 <br />$26.80 <br />—Step <br />1 $27.64 <br />$28.48 <br />$30.15 <br />$31.83 <br />$33.50 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />authorizes Staff to complete the following: <br />• Advertise for the upcoming vacancy of the Recreation Coordinator <br />• Reduce Darryl Thibodeaux from full-time non-exempt effective August 26, 2022, <br />to part-time non-exempt effective August 27, 2022 at the same wage of <br />$28.48/hour (less benefits) <br />• Mr. Thibodeaux will work from home with a City issued laptop, cell phone, and <br />receive connectivity for remote access <br />• Approve the revision made to the Recreation Coordinator job description <br />ATTEST: <br />Adopted this 22nd day of August, 2022. <br />Carol A.
