MOUNDS,VfEW <br /> 2018 Economic Development Commission (EDC) <br /> Priorities <br /> Amended and Revised by EDC February 16, 2018 <br /> 1) Development/redevelopment along the Mounds View Boulevard <br /> corridor <br /> a) Crossroad Point redevelopment site <br /> b) Improve the aesthetics of properties located on County Road 10 <br /> c) Silver View Plaza <br /> d) Simon's, Tires N More, & City-Owned Lot <br /> e) Johnson Lot & Related Empty Lot <br /> f) Rydell Auto & Adjacent Lot <br /> g) Mounds View Boulevard & Woodale Drive Lots <br /> 2) Monitor development plans for the Rice Creek Commons site in Arden <br /> Hills <br /> 3) Arden Park & City owned lot <br /> 4) Monitor Mounds View commercial properties in transition <br /> 5) Skyline Motel redevelopment <br /> 6) Monitor and assist with Citywide housing issues and projects & older <br /> properties as well as cooperating with multi-family property owners to <br /> assist with upgrading facilities <br /> 7) Monitor & explore new business categories through trade groups like <br /> Medical Alley and identify available spaces in Mounds View with the <br /> intent to fill those spaces with new companies <br /> 8) Continue business retention program <br /> 9) Review Business section of Comprehensive Plan for 2018 update by <br /> utilizing the two Comprehensive Plan Task Force Members who are <br /> also EDC Commissioners <br />
