RESOLUTION NO. 9625 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF ALEXIS CAMPIS-OLALDE <br />TO THE POSITION OF FACILITIES MAINTENANCE (MONDAY — FRIDAY) <br />WHEREAS, the Facilities Maintenance position was re -advertised for two (2) positions, a <br />Monday — Friday 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and a Tuesday — Saturday 11:30 a.m. — 8:00 p.m.; and, <br />WHEREAS, the addition of a second Facilities Maintenance position eliminates the need <br />to fill the two (2) vacant part-time Custodian positions, which will reduce the part-time Custodian <br />staff to one (1); and, <br />WHEREAS, four (4) applications were received and three (3) were invited to interview for <br />the Facilities Maintenance position; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Campis skills were determined to most closely match the duties and <br />responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Campis hiring assessment was successfully completed the week of <br />September 6th, and BCA background is in the final stages; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Campis will begin at Step 1 of the 2022 pay plan or $19.54 per hour; and, <br />2022 Hourly Wage Schedule: <br />Step 1 <br />Step 1.5 <br />Step 2 <br />Step 3 <br />Step 4 <br />Ste 5 <br />$19.54 <br />$20.15 <br />$20.76 <br />$21.98 <br />23.20 <br />$24.42 <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Campis will begin employment on or around September 14th, 2022; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Campis will be subject to a six month probationary period and eligible for <br />a wage increase to Step 1.5 of the City's pay plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby <br />approve the hire of Alexis Campis-Olalde to the position of Facilities Maintenance, at Step 1 of <br />the pay plan (currently $19.54/hour) and with employment to commence on or around September <br />14, 2022, provided clear BCA results are received. <br />Adopted this 12th day of September, 2022. <br />Akw�� <br />Carol A.
