RESOLUTION NO. 9626 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR <br />ARBORIST / PARK MAINTENANCE STAFF DAN WATTENHOFER <br />WHEREAS, Arborist/Park Maintenance Staff Dan Wattenhofer has resigned from the City <br />of Mounds View; his last day of employment is September 16, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement between the Public Works <br />Collective Bargaining Agreement and the City of Mounds View, Mr. Wattenhofer will receive a <br />cash payout of his vacation hours and compensatory time. Mr. Wattenhofer has a current <br />balance of accrued and unused vacation of 28.47 hours and compensatory time balance of 0.25 <br />hours; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual, 50% of Mr. <br />Wattenhofers' sick leave hours will be deposited into his Retirement Health Savings Plan. Mr. <br />Wattenhofer has a sick leave balance of 19.35 hours (50% = 9.68 hours); and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Wattenhofers' rate of pay upon resignation is $34.70 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />separation compensation to Mr. Daniel Wattenhofer consistent with the Labor Agreement <br />between the City of Mounds View and the Public Works Collective Bargaining Agreement, and <br />Section 5.03 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br />Hours <br />Hourly rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation Hours <br />28.47 <br />$34.70 <br />$ 987.91 Cash Payout <br />Compensatory Hours <br />0.25 <br />$34.70 <br />$ 8.68 Cash Payout <br />50% Sick Leave <br />9.68 <br />$34.70 <br />$ 335.90 Into RHSP <br />Total Separation <br />Compensation: <br />$1,332.49* <br />*Amount may fluctuate slightly. Above hours include final vacation and sick leave accruals, however not actual timesheet calculation. <br />Adopted this 12th day of September, 2022. <br />Carol A.
