Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable <br />individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. <br />Physical Demands: <br />While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers <br />to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to <br />stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, talk, and hear. The employee <br />must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 <br />pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color <br />vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must <br />have a sense of smell. <br />Work Environment: <br />While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions <br />year round. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and equipment and <br />is exposed to vibration and wet and/or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works in <br />high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic <br />chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. <br />SELECTION GUIDELINES <br />Formal application, supplemental questionnaire, resume and cover letter; rating of <br />education/training and experience; oral interview; reference checks; FMCSA history check; pre- <br />employment physical and drug test; and pre -employment entry level evaluation performed at <br />Martin -McAllister. <br />The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be <br />performed.
