RI -'.-VISE RESOLUTION NO. 9644 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING THE HIRE OF LINDSEY JOURDAN TO THE POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER WHEREAS, the City Council has approved recruitment for the position of Police Officer in the Police Department; and, WHEREAS, the approved hiring procedures consist of a competitive written examination, training and experience scoring, oral interviews, physical agility testing, thorough background investigation, physical examination and psychological examination; and, WHEREAS, a top candidate in the interview process was Lindsey Jourdan; and, WHEREAS, staff of the Police Department has met with Lindsey Jourdan, and the Interim Chief of Police recommends that Lindsey Jourdan be appointed to the position of Police Officer; and, WHEREAS, Lindsey Jourdan has one year experience in law enforcement, staff requests to begin employment of Lindsey Jourdan at a starting wage of 70% top patrol rate and provide the $2,500 lateral transfer supplement. 2022 Starting Wage After 12 Months After 24 Months After 36 Months 70% of Top Patrol 80% of Top Patrol 90% of Top Patrol 100% of Top Patrol Rate Rate Rate Rate $28.74 $32.85 $36.95 $41.06 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby: • Appoint Lindsey Jourdan to the position of Police Officer • Starting date effective November 29, 2022 • Wage at the 70% top patrol rate of pay ($28.74/hour) as indicated in the Law Enforcement Labor Services contract • Lindsey Jourdan will receive the Lateral Transfer Supplement of $2,500 with her first payroll check (to be reimbursed if employee does not successfully complete probation) Adopted this 24th day of October, 2022.
