Special Revenue Funds <br />Most of the special revenue funds are small and the budgets are driven by the specific revenues received. <br />The most note worthy are the Cable, EDA, Community Center, and TIF 5 as they have the most significant <br />activity. The EDA fund will be funded by an EDA levy not exceeding $100,000, a transfer from TIF 5 & 6 <br />that is limited to 5% of the increment in TIF 5 and 10% in TIF 6 (approx. $99,600) and a $50,000 transfer <br />from the General Fund. The transfer from the General Fund to the Community Center Fund is proposed <br />to stay at $350,000 but will need to be revisited in 2024. <br /> <br />Debt Service Fund <br />This fund accounts for a tax levy to pay the debt service for the Public Works facility, the amounts <br />correspond to principal and interest amounts due on February 1 and August 1 and are collected the year <br />prior to the debt service payment. <br /> <br />Staff would recommend that Council review the funds and make any recommendations that they may <br />have. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> Mark Beer <br /> <br />Mark Beer, Finance Director
