RESOLUTION 9645 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZATION FOR STORM SEWER MAINTENANCE AT WOODCREST PARK <br />WHEREAS, Staff inspected the storm sewer drainage ditch that flows into to the <br />Woodcrest Park wetland area and observed heavy amounts of sediment that was causing <br />storm water to overflow onto Silver Lake Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Stantec determined the drainage channel would need to be cleaned <br />to remove the sediment and allow adequate drainage and flow; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff applied for a permit with the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil <br />Resources with the maintenance permit being now approved; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff obtained a quote from Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. for <br />$25,200.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding for these repairs is budgeted in the Storm Sewer Fund, <br />745-4415-5150, which includes $30,000.00 for Storm Sewer Cleaning. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City hereby approves the quote from Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. to <br />excavate and remove the sediment away for $25,200.00. <br />2. Funding will be payable from the Storm Sewer Account, 745-4415-5150. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized <br />and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or <br />convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 14th day of November, 2022 <br />ATTEST: <br />(:SEAL) <br />Carol A.
