Mounds View EDA September 26, 2022 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br />and residents throughout the metro area. He explained five City loans and four other loans had 1 <br />closed this year. He noted several applications were removed, due to the fact bids could not be 2 <br />received for projects. He discussed how interest rates were increasing which was making the City 3 <br />dollars more attractive to homeowners. He thanked the City for their continued partnership with 4 <br />CEE. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Commissioner Meehlhause asked how many home energy audits CEE had completed for Mounds 7 <br />View residents. Mr. Hasnik stated he did not have this information with him but would report back 8 <br />to the EDA with this information. He then described what was done at a home energy audit. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Commissioner Meehlhause encouraged residents to consider having a home energy audit 11 <br />completed by CEE. 12 <br /> 13 <br />B. Resolution 22-EDA-360, Approving a Fourth Amendment to the Loan 14 <br />Origination Agreement with Center for Energy and Environment. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the EDA approve a fourth amendment to the loan 17 <br />origination agreement with the Center for Energy Environment. He commented on the minor 18 <br />changes that were made within the agreement and recommended approval. 19 <br /> 20 <br />President Mueller asked how the EDA funds these programs. Assistant City Administrator 21 <br />Beeman explained this was done through the EDA levy, a general fund transfer and TIF district 22 <br />transfers. 23 <br /> 24 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 22-EDA-25 <br />360, Approving a Fourth Amendment to the Loan Origination Agreement with Center for Energy 26 <br />and Environment. 27 <br /> 28 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 29 <br /> 30 <br />7.
