RESOLUTION 9674 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT (COLA), INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION, <br />AND INSURANCE OPT -OUT PAYMENT AMOUNTS FOR 2023 <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Compensation Schedule must be annually approved by <br />Council Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide a competitive compensation package and <br />has traditionally awarded the same cost of living adjustment and insurance contribution to all <br />employee groups in order to maintain internal equity; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has offered an Insurance Opt -out payment; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends a COLA increase of 3.00% for non -union employees <br />consistent with the union contracts, a monthly insurance contribution of $1,200, employees <br />electing family health insurance will receive $225 per month towards their Health Savings Plan, <br />an increase of $25 for plan year 2023, and an insurance opt -out payment of $308 per month for <br />all employees, effective January 1, 2023. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does hereby <br />approve a 3.00% Cost of Living Adjustment for non -union employees, a monthly insurance <br />contribution of $1,200, employees electing family health insurance receive $225 per month <br />toward their Health Savings Plan, and a monthly insurance opt -out payment of $308 for all <br />employees, effective January 1, 2023. <br />Adopted this 12t" day of December, 2022. <br />h4w <br />Carol A.
