RESOLUTION NO. 9675 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DEVELOP PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE 2023 STREET <br />REHABILITATION PROJECT — PLEASANT VIEW DRIVE/STINSON AND TO CONTINUE <br />WITH PROJECT PLANNING <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering a joint 2023 Street Project - <br />Pleasant View Drive/Stinson Boulevard with the City of Fridley; and <br />WHEREAS, Pleasant View Drive was last reconstructed in 1994 and is <br />approximately 2,383 feet in length, and maintenance has included seal coating, pothole <br />patching and skim coating as needed; and; <br />WHEREAS, the Cities of Mounds View and Fridley have in place a JPA for <br />pavement maintenance and reconstruction of the shared road; and <br />WHEREAS, Fridley Public Works provided the City of Mounds View with a <br />proposed street design for the 2023 Street Rehabilitation Project; and <br />WHEREAS, a joint 2 City Public Information Meeting was conducted on <br />November 15, 2022 to gain information from the residents in the proposed Street <br />Rehabilitation Project, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the proposed project at the December 5, <br />2022 Work Session. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />The City hereby approves the proposed street design for 2023 Street <br />Rehabilitation Project of Pleasant View Drive/Stinson Boulevard. <br />2. The City Council also authorizes the continued design of the shared use trail <br />on Pleasant View Drive as proposed in the street design. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />
