From: Nvle Zikmund
To: )on Sevald; Brian Beeman
Subject: FW: Garbage services violating MV ordinaces
Date: Monday, October 24, 2022 5:31:14 AM
FYI — comment on Woodale Development. Not new, Gavetts have opposed from the start (same
with Greystone Flats.
From: mgavett [mailto:mgavett@comcast.net]
Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2022 7:18 AM
To: Nyle Zikmund <nyle.zikmund@moundsviewmn.org>
Subject: Garbage services violating MV ordinaces
Caution: This email originated outside our organization; please use caution.
Hello Nyle,
Good Morning, I would like to ask if the city could again reach out to the following garbage services
for violating the city ordinances of pick up times. I know MV it is 7 AM and these have been out
today as follows.
Curbside collected at 6:16AM
Walters collected at 6:54AM
It is never good to be woken by bangs and clanks of garbage bins and trucks reving up this early so I
hope MV will send these a strong message to stop the early collections in residential areas.
Thank you and have a good day.
Also note we do not approve and do not want the development on Woodale behind the O'Connell
homes. Way to big and unsafe for this area. Put it somewhere else like the TCapp Site. None of the
city members have apartments in their neighborhood so don't force it on ours. This is against MV
zoning as it has no buffer between R4 apartments and R1 homes as the zoning directs. Why does
MV even consider these huge developments next to R1 homes? Plus there are no areas for kids or
residences to recreate as the 30 foot buffer around the building is not enough to utilize. Also a single
driveway on Woodale is absurd for 260 units. Also fire and police access in a single driveway with all
parking in the center is a hazard we do not need.
Please share our dislike to the council members as a NO Vote and do not sugar coat it we and
neighbors do not want this development.
Thank You,
Mark & Debbie Gavett
