However, since the addition of the two large <br />apartment buildings added recently, there has not been a noticeable influx of revitalizing businesses along the <br />corridor. The additional stress and strain on the core infrastructure and services are certainly going to be noticed as <br />we continue to add more and more residents - water, traffic/congestion, roads, police services, staffing needs at city <br />hall, etc. <br />I sincerely feel for the residents who have put down roots, and purchased a home near to this proposed new <br />building. Having a four story building towering over their home and backyard would be awful. Please consider the <br />thoughts and concerns of the neighborhood, over your desire to continue to "grow" the cities population. I believe <br />that the majority of our city residents do not see this as improving our citizen's quality of life, but rather lessening it. <br />I hope you will reconsider before steaming ahead with this project. <br />Sincerely, <br />Valerie Amundsen <br />Resident of Mounds View since 1979 <br />
