�0 <br />1 <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />Item No:05G <br />Meeting Date: December 12t", 2022 <br />Type of Business: Council Consent <br />Administrator Review: <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Jenny Nelson, Receptionist /Recycling Coordinator <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 9677 Approving the 2023 SCORE Recycling Grant <br />Request to Ramsey County <br />Background/Discussion: <br />In conjunction with Ramsey County and the State of Minnesota SCORE Program, the <br />City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for grant monies to fund 2023 recycling activities. <br />As part of the grant application, the City Council must formally request this funding. The <br />amount is projected to be $32,631 <br />Discussion: <br />The attached 2023 SCORE funding grant application describes Mounds View's <br />recycling program and proposed budget allocation. Please note SCORE funds may <br />only be used for their allocated purposes (For example, administration funds may not be <br />used for publicity costs). <br />In 2023, staff will continue to bring attention to the ongoing composting and recycling <br />programs in the City of Mounds View.
