The Mixed-Use designation provides the flexibility to consider <br />opportunities, without needing to amend the Comprehensive Plan. <br />PARKS/OPEN SPACE <br />Park, open space and recreational facilities owned and operated by local, <br />regional, state and federal governments. <br />PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC <br />Land use primarily for governmental, educational, religious, social or health <br />care facilities excluding clinics. Examples include nursing homes, private <br />hospitals, tax-exempt properties owned by federal, state, county, city or school <br />districts, private schools, fire stations, libraries, and tax-exempt properties <br />owned by churches and cemeteries. <br />UTILITY <br />An area or strip of land, either public or private, occupied by a power plant or <br />substation, electric transmission line, oil or gas pipeline, water tower, municipal <br />well, reservoir, pumping station, water treatment facility, communications <br />tower, or similar use. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />5 Redevelopment Roundtable, April 7, 2018.
