Item No: 06A <br />Meeting Date: Nov 3, 2021 <br />Type of Business: Reports <br />Planning Case: (N/A) <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Planning Commission <br />From: Jon Sevald, Community Development Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 1142-21, Recommending 2022-2024 Appointments to the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission <br />Introduction: <br />The Mounds View Planning Commission consists of seven Mounds View residents who are not elected <br />officials. Commission members are appointed by the City Council based upon recommendations made <br />by the Commission, to three-year terms. The Commission currently has three members whose terms <br />expire on December 31, 2021 (French, Monn, and Nelson). <br />The City solicited applications from the public to serve on advisory commissions, including the Planning <br />Commission. The City received five applications for the Commission. These applications are included in <br />the attachments. Applicants have been invited to attend the November 3rd Planning Commission <br />meeting. <br />Recommendation: <br />The Planning Commission is requested to review these applications, and approve the Resolution, <br />recommending appointments to the Commission.
