RESOLUTION NO. 9686 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING VACATION CARRYOVER EXTENSION FOR <br />CERTAIN POLICE DEPARTMENT AND PUBLIC WORKS PERSONNEL <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has clear policy which includes a vacation earnings formula <br />based on years of service, vacation usage, and limits on carryover; and <br />WHEREAS, the following employees have excess vacation to carry over into the year 2023: <br />Department <br />Employee <br />Hours <br />Police <br />Riley Solz <br />4.14 <br />Police <br />Nick Erickson <br />23.90 <br />Police <br />Ben Zender <br />3.48 <br />Police <br />Michael Hanson <br />20.0 <br />Police <br />Nate Garland <br />2.36 <br />Police <br />Sydney Dison <br />1.26 <br />Public Works <br />Tracy Juell <br />4.20 <br />Public Works <br />Don Peterson <br />8.35 <br />Public Works <br />James Holman <br />2.90 <br />Public Works <br />Pete Szurek <br />16.44 <br />and <br />WHEREAS, each of the above employees are valued members of our team and extenuating <br />circumstances caused the situation to occur. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council authorize a vacation <br />carryover extension for the following Police Department and Public Works Personnel, with the time to be <br />used by December 31, 2023: <br />Department <br />Employee <br />Hours <br />Police <br />Riley Solz <br />4.14 <br />Police <br />Nick Erickson <br />23.90 <br />Police <br />Ben Zender <br />3.48 <br />Police <br />Michael Hanson <br />20.0 <br />Police <br />Nate Garland <br />2.36 <br />Police <br />Sydney Dison <br />1.26 <br />Public Works <br />Tracy Juell <br />4.20 <br />Public Works <br />Don Peterson <br />8.35 <br />Public Works <br />James Holman <br />2.90 <br />Public Works <br />Pete Szurek <br />16.44 <br />Adopted this 23,d day of January, 2023. <br />Al Hull, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
