Attended Pension Commission Meeting, main topic was public safety PTSD Claims. <br />LMC has made this one of their top five priorities. Commission also spent considerable <br />time on assumption rates and inflation, both critical components of pensions and <br />pension funding. <br />Updated loan agreement with MPCA on 0% interest money, reduced amount to a <br />Million, extended for another year, updated agreement. Also clarified funds can be <br />used by multi -family (apartments and mobile home parks). Amendment will be coming <br />forward to Council at their meeting on the 14t" <br />MVPD: <br />Has several members supporting Special Olympics via the annual polar plunge. Hatches were opened this week <br />revealing 4" of media (that is a lot) has gone down the drain so to speak. Consensus by all to <br />run plant another 30 days and measure again. Air valve issue is not a factor as it has been <br />disabled since we went back on line. Back to the drains as the most likely culprit. Stay tuned. <br />Community Development: <br />Drainage easement for Tom Fields has been recorded with the County! <br />52XX Quincy Street <br />Inquiry re: indoor shooting range <br />Hillview & Quincy <br />Isiah is working through a couple of properties; one with no heat, another occupied by <br />squatters. <br />5491 Adams Street (Fedor's) <br />Auto Parts Store (leased). Beauty Salon (leased). Grocery Store (no lease yet). Building is <br />being renovated. Will be some time before anyone can move in. <br />Caribou Cabin <br />Early spring opening. <br />Scotland Green / Silverview Apartments <br />Sale closing early February. Buyer intends to add clubhouse to Scotland Green and minor <br />improvements, considering additional apartment building at Silverview. Considering buying <br />The Sands apartments. <br />
