Did the council have conversations of things <br />which they would like to see amended? <br />A Yes. <br />Q Can you tell the Court what that item was or <br />items? <br />A So item number one was the entire charter would <br />be simpler. Item two through a series of workshops, <br />retreats in 2018 at, I think, the second meeting of <br />January of this year, the strategic plan talks about <br />visiting the issue of the levy cap. And number three, at <br />a council workshop, they gave the commission some clear <br />feedback and direction on the chapter 7 election. <br />Q Are you certain of that chapter number? <br />A No. The election chapter. There's a lot of <br />numbers going through my head, your Honor. <br />THE COURT: Did the charter commission attend <br />the city council workshops? <br />THE WITNESS: Your Honor, the chair of the <br />commission was invited to come to a workshop <br />
