Hypothetically, <br />if the charter commission had voted to oppose this <br />petition, you would have a problem, wouldn't you? <br />MR. RIGGS: Potentially, yes, your Honor. <br />THE COURT: Not potentially. If that vote had <br />occurred, you would actually have a problem. <br />MR. RIGGS: Yes. <br />THE COURT: Okay. But since that didn't <br />happen, you don't have a problem today. You are <br />only acting on behalf of the city council and not on <br />behalf of the charter commission? <br />MR. RIGGS: Correct, your Honor. <br />THE COURT: Okay. You may proceed. <br />MR. RIGGS: Thank you, your Honor. Is it okay <br />if I remain seated? <br />
