The Council either determines the petition is frivolous; passes resolution/s for petition sufficiency, suspending the Ordinance and placing the Ordinance on a ballot; or passes a resolution delaying the effective date of the Ordinance 30 days to allow process completion. Submit completed referendum petition with deficiencies corrected to Clerk -Administrator <= 21 days = 30 days F;Hdays Council either, passes resolutionls for petition sufficiency, suspending the Ordinance and placing the Ordinance on a ballot, or directs the petition be filed as insufficient and the Ordinance takes effect.
