Mounds View Charter Appendix A <br />Timeline for a ballot issue related to Initiative, <br />Referendum or Recall - Revision Date 10/09/2006 <br />Election Year <br />Upon Council declaration that a petition has been <br />determined to be sufficient, <br />at or before its next regularly scheduled meeting, the <br />Council shall call a special election to take place <br />within 120 calendar days of said meeting. <br />MN Statute 204D.03 Time of state elections. <br />Subd. 1. State primary. The state primary shall be <br />held on the first Tuesday after the second Monday in <br />September in each even -numbered year. <br />No Special election shall be scheduled between the <br />Primary and General Election <br />49 — 56 <br />days <br />MN Statute 204D.03 Time of state elections. <br />Subd. 2. State general election. The state general <br />election shall be held on the first Tuesday after the <br />first Monday in November in each even -numbered <br />year. <br />If there is no Primary election, no Special election <br />shall be scheduled within 60 days prior to the <br />General election.
