Resolution 9698, Appreciation to Dan Larson for his Service on the Economic <br />4 Development Commission. <br />5 <br />6 Mayor Hull read a Resolution of Appreciation in full for the record recognizing Dan Larson for <br />7 his years of dedicated service on the Economic Development Commission. <br />8 <br />9 Dan Larson thanked the Council for this recognition and explained he has enjoyed his time serving <br />10 the City of Mounds View. A round of applause was offered by all in attendance. <br />12 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9698, <br />13 Appreciation to Dan Larson for his Service on the Economic Development Commission. <br />14 <br />15 Council Member Meehlhause thanked Dan Larson for his dedicated service to both the <br />16 Commission and the community. <br />17 <br />18 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />19 <br />20 8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />21 A. First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 1002, Approving an Amendment <br />22 to the 2023 Fee Schedule Regarding Storm Water Management Fees. <br />23 <br />24 City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council introduce Ordinance 1002 which would <br />25 approve an amendment to the storm water management fees within the 2023 fee schedule. He <br />26 discussed the process the City followed to become the LGU in order to oversee and approve the <br />27 City's watershed requests. <br />28 <br />29 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Cermak. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce Ordinance <br />30 1002, Approving an Amendment to the 2023 Fee Schedule Regarding Storm Water Management <br />31 Fees. <br />32 <br />33 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />34 <br />35 B. Second Reading, Adoption and Summary Publication of Ordinance 1001, <br />36 Amending Chapter 90, Section 90.005 of the City Code increasing number of <br />37 allowed chickens from 8 to 12. ROLL CALL VOTE <br />38 <br />39 City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council adopt an Ordinance that would amend Chapter <br />40 90 of City Code increasing the number of allowed chickens from eight to twelve. It was noted the <br />41 Council heard the first reading of this Ordinance at the February 27 City Council meeting. <br />42 <br />43 Council Member Lindstrom asked if the Council supported residents having to wait one year <br />44 before moving from four chickens to eight chickens. City Administrator Zikmund stated he did <br />45 not believe there was Council consensus on this matter. <br />46 <br />
