RESOLUTION 9732 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />PURCHASE OF AN AUTOMATED LIFT FOR THE SANITARY SEWER INSPECTION <br />CAMERA <br />WHEREAS, one of the many responsibilities Public Works facilitates is to inspect <br />the sanitary and storm water infrastructure; and <br />WHEREAS, at times, during these inspections high water levels and/or debris <br />force the camera under water or prevent the camera from moving forward; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff found an automated lift, aka elevator, that is available for the <br />camera and will help alleviate this problem; and <br />WHEREAS Staff has obtained a quote for an automated lift from the CPV <br />approved contractor list, Macqueen Equipment of St. Paul, MN, for $12,400.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Staff is authorized to purchase an Automated Lift at a cost of $12,400.00 from <br />Macqueen Equipment of St. Paul, MN. Funding for this purchase will be taken <br />from account 730-4823-7030 which includes $25,000.00 for an elevator for the <br />inspection camera. <br />2.
