Mounds View Community Center YMCA Programs <br /> Preschool Programs(Fox and Geeseres, Willy Tilly's and Kid Kaboodle) <br /> Our preschool programs have remained strong after a change of instructors. Our past <br /> instructor left due to personal scheduling conflict after numerous years of teaching with <br /> us. We have averaged 9-10 children per class/session. <br /> Preschool Dance <br /> This class is offered on a regular basis and continues to be successful averaging 8-10 <br /> participants. <br /> Beginning Soccer and Preschool Sports <br /> Both of these programs are designed to teach beginning skills of sports and are offered <br /> throughout the year. Participants range from 6-12 per class/session. <br /> Floor Hockey <br /> This is another program that has been offered on a regular basis. Due to many requests, <br /> two session of floor hockey have been added for January to accommodate the different <br /> age groups. <br /> Youth Soccer Leagues <br /> Soccer continues to grow and so does the popularity of our leagues. We have seen a <br /> steady increase in the number of participants. <br /> Flag Football <br /> Our instructional flag football is offered in the fall for two age groups (K-2 and 3-5) and <br /> continues to be successful. <br /> Ballet and Jazz Dance Class <br /> This program is offered on a regular basis however at times our numbers have been low. <br /> We continue to offer and promote the program. <br /> Ice Skating Lessons <br /> We haven't offered skating lessons for a couple of years but we will again this January at <br /> Groveland. <br /> Soccer Clinic <br /> This will again be offered this summer. <br /> Options <br /> This is a 12 week program offered at Edgewood Middle school for children in grades K- <br /> 5. Options is an all day program (6:30a.m. —6:00 p.m.)that focuses on a variety of <br /> special activity classes, sport lessons and field trips. This will be our 4tn year offering the <br /> program. (this program has been held at both the MVCC and Lexington learning center <br /> for the past 2 years due to construction at Edgewood) <br />
