Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> Minutes <br /> Page 4 <br /> December 10, 1981 <br /> 111/1 <br /> PUPPET WAGON , JOINT Director Anderson reviewed the possibility of a joint powers <br /> POWERS AGREEMENT agreement with the City of New Brighton in the operation and <br /> service of the Puppet Wagon . Director Anderson outlined the <br /> benefits and sited the only disadvantage will be fewer shows <br /> in Mounds View. <br /> The Commission was in agreement to the joint powers agreement <br /> and felt it would be a benefit to the City. The Commission <br /> further directed staff to draft a joint powers agreement for <br /> the Commissions review in January. <br /> SCHOOL DISTRICT Director Anderson reviewed the update report on the school <br /> UPDATE building closings. Director Anderson also announced that the <br /> Community Education Advisory Council is looking for new memo <br /> 1110 <br /> RESOLUTIONS Director Anderson provided an example of a resolution for out- <br /> going Commission members , expressing thanks and appreciation <br /> for a job well done. Chairman Wayne Burmeister made a motion <br /> to adopt the resolutions with Commissioner Frank Silvis seconding <br /> the motion.
