In addition , staff has included an article on Wildflower Planting which we intend to do some mass planting of at Silver View Park. A current listing of the contracts that have been let for Silver View Park and their current status is as follows : Initial enginnering and site plan (Saunders/Thalden) $ 6,500.00 - Completed Initial Grade Stakes (S.E.H. ) $ 1 ,147.15 - Completed • Rough and Finish Grading (W.J . Ebertz & Co. ) $32 ,000.00 - Scheduled for Completion 11/1/81 Stripping of top soil (M.H. Anderson) $ 8,129.00 - Completed Players benches (Perkins Landscaping Contractors) $ 1 ,500.00 - Ordered Backstops (Crowley Fence Company) $ 4,630.00 - 11/1/81 Sod/seed (J & S Sod Service) $20,000.00 - Spring , 1982 Irrigation (Natural Green) $ 4 ,490.00 - 11/1/81 Paving (Perkins Landscaping Contractors) $15,900.00 - 11/1/81 Construction Management (Saunders/Thalden) $ 2,960.00 - 50% Completed Grading modification (W.J. Ebertz & Co. ) $ 2 ,500.00 - Completed $93,256. 15 Total project cost is $105,100 so as of October 22, 1981 we are $11 ,843.84 under budget. I have included a copy of memo to the City Council which outlined the $2 ,500.00 change order for grading. As can be noted, Mary Anderson was generous enough to allow the City an additional5,000 cubic yards of material and the $2,500.00 cost was for 2 of the cost to move the material . As there will probably be additional minor change orders before we are completed, it would be premature to determine ways to spend the "excess" money. But, none the less , staff would request the Commission begin thinking of projects they
