Motion <br /> passed . <br /> 5 ayes <br /> 0 nayes <br /> SILVER VIEW Director Anderson reviewed the update report on the pro- <br /> gression of Silver View Park development . <br /> ATHLETIC UPDATE Director Anderson reviewed the report and expressed the <br /> concern about the need for trophies and state tournament <br /> berths for the City of Mounds View ball leagues , and re- <br /> viewed past problems . <br /> was_, made 1111 <br /> A motiona5 by Frank Silvis to direct staff to <br /> formulate a trophy and state tournament philosophy and <br /> policy . <br /> PARK USAGE POLICY Director Anderson expressed the need to re-vamp the park <br /> usage policy and park drinking policy . The Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission expressed their preference to meet <br /> jointly with the City Council and Police Chief. The Parks <br /> and Recreation Commission will discuss this topic further <br /> at the October Parks and Recreation Commission meeting prior <br /> to the joint meeting . <br /> LAMBERT TOT LOT The Parks and Recreation Commission discussed the pre- <br /> viously voiced concern about the Lambert Tot Lot expressed <br /> by citizens at the August meeting . The Commission con- <br /> cluded that money is not available for new equipment and <br /> directed Staff to make do with what equipment the Cite <br /> already has . <br />
