The age requirement is that girls can 't be 16 before September 1 , 1981 . It was my understanding your team didn 't meet that age requirement and that you were going to qualify for the Sr. Girls State Tournament. • At present time we have registered only one team from the City of Mounds View for the Jr. Girls State Tournament and that spot has been reserved for the winner of our Girls Softball League. I spoke with the manager of the team that would represent Mounds View and they are not sure if they are going to be able to attend. Should it be ascertained that your team would be eligible for the Jr. Girls and our league champion can 't go to the State Tournament, we will send your team as a replacement. The Jr. Girls Tournament is scheduled for July 25 and 26 in St. Cloud. As of June 17 , 1981 , we have registered your team as a Sr. Girls team and we will ' be sending the playoff champion (July 19, 1981 ) from the Sr. Girls League to the Sr. Girls State Tournament. Regarding your make up game from June 28, 1981 , Mary has scheduled the game for Thursday, July 23 at 6:00 and 7: 15 p.m. at Hillview Park. Mary will contact you prior to Wednesday should there be any change in the arrangement.
