RESOLUTION NO.9737 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE POLICE UTILITY ADMINISTRATIVE <br />VEHICLE ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND SETUP COSTS <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department maintains a replacement <br />schedule of police vehicles to ensure that the police department can provide reliable <br />quality service to the community with dependable police vehicles, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department planned and budgeted for the <br />replacement of one administrative vehicle in 2023; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department is in immediate need to <br />replace one administrative vehicle, <br />WHEREAS, Dodge of Burnsville has the state bid for Dodge Police utility vehicles <br />available at $38,617.00 with additional equipment and set up cost at approximately <br />$8,978.24. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to authorize the purchase of one 2023 <br />Dodge Durango Police Utility Administrative Vehicle at an approximate cost of $38,617 <br />plus additional equipment and setup costs of approximately $8,978.24 each for a total <br />expense of $47,595.24 in the 2023 budget funded from Account 460-4200-7040, and <br />additional equipment total of approximately $5,748.24 from Account 225-4200-1230. <br />Adopted this 24th day of April 2023, <br />Gary M16-ehlhAuse, Acting Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle ikmu , City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
