A few <br /> Commissioners will be out of town during that week. <br /> As you requested at the January meeting, I have invited Mike <br /> Ulrich, City Public Works Director to attend the meeting and <br /> discuss with us the options for marking bicycle trails on City <br /> streets. In addition, it was your request to discuss the issue <br /> of a bicycle trail connecting to the Ardan Avenue street <br /> improvement project that is scheduled to occur in the near <br /> future. This is a meeting dedicated to the advancement of <br /> bicycle trails. Please come prepared with ideas and questions to <br /> •hare with Mike. I have updated the trailway map to include the <br /> pedestrian bridge, Long Lake sidewalk and the possibility of <br /> extending Silver Lake Road off-street trail. <br /> Also included in this meeting agenda is a request by the MVAA to <br /> place an equipment building at a park site. The MVAA spends a <br /> great deal of money on storing equipment and wishes the City's <br /> assistance with this project. Please be thinking about possible <br /> locations. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated. <br /> The request for geotechnical services for information and testing <br /> at Woodcrest Park is on the consent agenda for Monday, February <br /> 13 , 1995 City Council meeting with anticipation that it will be <br /> approved. This services will be performed as soon as possible so <br /> that the Commission can move forward with the goal of planning <br /> improvements for Woodcrest Park. <br /> If you are unable to attend the meeting please call me at 784- <br /> 0618 . Since your agenda of 1995 goals is so ambitious, I will <br /> try to assist by gathering and presenting as much information as <br /> possible to discuss at the meetings so that you can proceed with <br /> your action steps.
