New, natural gas furnances were also installed for <br /> more efficient and cost effective heating. New durable carpet has been installed for a cozy <br /> atmosphere. The buildings will continue to be equipped and revised to meet the needs of user <br /> groups. Cupboards will be installed so that regular user groups can leave supplies and materials in <br /> the buildings. This has bean done a Random Park Building, serving its users well. <br /> To reserve the park buildings, call the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department at 784-0618. <br /> The scheduling system has been integrated to accommodate for the scheduling of building use. A <br /> permit and user form will be mailed to your group. A $25.00 key deposit is required from ail <br /> groups using the buildings. Keys will be distributed to the responsible group leader. Building use <br /> rules and regulations and responsibilities of the users are printed on the user form. it is important <br /> that each and every user group clean up after their use and keep the building damage free so <br /> that the buildings can remain in excellent condition for the community. <br /> Focus 2000 Neighborhoods and Housing Team recommended providing this opportunity for <br /> community groups to use the park building for meetings and other neighborhood activities. <br /> Establishing this use provides focal points at the neighborhood parks, encouraging communication • <br /> I with neighbors and forstering community spirit and participation.
