Y <br /> -3- <br /> ARTICLE 7 - DUTIES OF FOUNDATION CHAIRPERSON <br /> • A. The foundation chairperson shall coordinate and oversee <br /> all sub-committee chairpersons and make sure that all <br /> duties are performed in a timely and efficient manner . <br /> B. The chairperson shall appoint the Vice-chairperson , <br /> secretary and treasurer . <br /> ARTICLE 8 - DUTIES OF SUB-COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS <br /> A. General responsibilities include the coordination with <br /> the Foundation chairperson . <br /> B. Responsible for work as outlined under their individual <br /> committee assignments as well as recruiting necessary <br /> workers to insure that the duties are carried out. <br /> C. Responsible for presenting written reports to the Board <br /> of Directors and for setting up sub-committee meetings <br /> as deemed necessary. <br /> D. The following standing committees are hereby <br /> established: <br /> 1 . Entertainment Committee - Contact and get written <br /> • committment for all entertainment for the special <br /> events as necessary. This would include not only <br /> outside groups or people but also coordinating the <br /> days activities or for special event programs. <br /> 2. Food Committee - Would coordinate the purchase , <br /> preparation and serving of all food during special <br /> event activities . <br /> 3 . Publicity Committee - Responsible for all publicity <br /> before and after the special event activity <br /> including signs , flyers , radio and_ TV coverage , <br /> newspaper articles and pictures. <br /> 4 . City Liason Committee - This individual would be <br /> responsible for coordination with the City staff and <br /> Parks and Recreation Commission to ensure that all <br /> activities are well communicated and documented <br /> between the City and the Foundation . <br /> 5 . Maintenance and Safety Committee - Responsibilities <br /> will include securing people to insure that the park <br /> and general activities are kept in a clean and neat <br /> manner . In addition , that all programs are operated <br /> in a saafe , clean and positive environment. <br /> • <br />
