"` RES T �: Imo' 90 <br /> OLU ION N0. 1644 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW • <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> 111/1 <br /> RESOLUTION OF GUIDELINES RELATING TO THE POSITION OF AQUATIC <br /> COORDINATOR FOR THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Community Education Department will con- <br /> tribute up to $2,000.00 to the Mounds View Parks and Recreation Department <br /> for the position of Aquatics Coordinator for the period of Aug. 22, 1983 to <br /> Aug. 22 , 1934 . The following outline lists the minimum service expectation. <br /> I . Program Coordination <br /> A. Work with the Cities of New Brighton and Shoreview to coordinate <br /> a comprehensive water safety instruction program, that; <br /> 1 . Provides Red Cross Certified youth instruction. <br /> 2 . Provides programming for district residents of all ages. <br /> 3. Includes programming in the areas of open swim, splash <br /> parties , and other specialized areas (diving , super ducks, <br /> basic rescue/water safety) . <br /> 4 . Schedules programs to insure that similar classes are offered <br /> Sat different times throughout the week and on Saturdays. <br /> B. Work with the Cities of New Brighton and Shoreview to coordinate <br /> publicity so that; <br /> 1. Quarterly schedules at all pool programs are distributed <br /> district wide. <br /> 2. Programs sponsored by district swimming associations are <br /> included. <br /> 3. All District #621 residents have equal opportunity to <br /> participate in any program without a non-resident fee. <br /> C. Work with the Cities of New Brighton and Shoreview to coordinate <br /> pool personnel so that; <br /> 1 . A minimum of one WSI is in the pool during any activity. <br /> 2 . A district wide pool staff in service is scheduled to cover <br /> emergency procedures . <br /> S <br />
