Minneapolis , MN 55432 Dear Ms. Miller : This is just a short note to thank you for all the time and effort you have exerted in coordinating meetings and neighbors for the future development of Ardan Park . As per our meeting requests , we will be working on the following issues during the • coming months : 1 . Maintenance of ponds for the winter skating . 2 . Bringing hockey nets up to one of the pond areas during the winter months . 3. Reviewing the playground equipment at Red Oak Elementary School to see if it might be able to relocate it at Ardan Park . I would ask that you or one of your neighbors take a look at the equipment to determine if you would like to have it placed up at that site before we relocate it. 4 . Possibly a park sign will be constructed in 1984 should it be approved in the 1984 budget . 5 . The problems with snowmobiles will be addressed with the Mounds View Sno-mounties Club to see if can at least keep them in a selected trail area . 6 . The issue of security lighting for the park has been forwarded on to the Public Works Department and I have also included a copy of the street lighting ordinance which outlines procedures should you desire to pursue this issue further . 7 . A wood chip trail could possibly be developed with one of our C. E.T. A. crews in 1984 or future years. 8. I am exploring the possibly of some type of trail develop- ment at Ardan Park utilizing the State Highway Department property abutting 35W. 1111 9 . I am going to be in contact with the Mosquito Control District to see how often they spray the area at Ardan Park since bugs seem to be a problem of some magnitude .
