1111 MEMO TO: Mounds View Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> FROM: Staff <br /> DATE: April 27 , 1983 <br /> RE: Silver View Park Improvements Update <br /> As of Wednesday , April 27 , 1983 , staff has overseen the <br /> construction of the two permanent outfield fences on diamonds <br /> number 1 and number 2 at Silver View Park and the "skinning" to <br /> city infields. Our current plan is to have the rec rock <br /> delivered on Thursday morning , April 28 with the infields to be <br /> completed by Friday noon, April 29. <br /> We have scheduled league games beginning Monday , May 9 , 1983 so <br /> our initial park completion of phase I will be completed prior to <br /> that date . <br /> Staff questions whether or not the Park Commission would like to <br /> do any type of grand opening or initial celebration at the Silver <br /> View Park fields during the summer of 1983 . Staff will have a <br /> complete breakdown of all expeditures and park improvements that <br /> have been made at Silver View Park at the May 26 Commission <br /> Meeting. <br /> 4111 BKA/sil <br />
