The meeting will commence at 6 : 30 p.m. in the <br /> City Hall Council Chambers . <br /> There are a number of policy issues that the Commission will be <br /> dealing with on the 24th, including the hiring of a half time <br /> Aquatics Coordinator, policy on volunteer recognition, modified <br /> youth baseball program, and a memorandum prepared by staff <br /> regarding new Department directions. <br /> 1111 <br /> Staff does not envision that the Commission will be able to <br /> take a position on each of the aforementioned issues but would <br /> request that each Commissioner review the memos on the Aquatics <br /> position and modified youth baseball proposal in some length as <br /> those items are under a fairly stringent time line. <br /> In addition to the enclosed reports, staff would recommend that <br /> each Commissioner bring a copy of their Parks and Open Space Plan <br /> as we will be referring to it throughout the evening as part of <br /> the presentation on the possible new directions for the Department . <br /> Should you have any questions regarding the enclosed staff reports <br /> and material , please feel free to contact myself directly at <br /> 784-3055, Extension 41 . <br /> Sincerely, <br /> TY OF MOUNDS V .EW <br /> 011, <br /> Bruce K.
