A d rr r\ A <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Mark Beer, Finance Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 9730 Adopting a Calendar for the Preparation of the <br />2024 Budget <br />Attached is resolution 9730 which adopts a calendar for preparation of the 2024 Budget. <br />There are several requirements in the City Charter and State Statutes that need to be met. <br />The calendar listed many staff work start and due dates. Items in bold type are City Council <br />meetings or actions. <br />There have been changes to the Truth -In -Taxation requirements and this will require the <br />acceleration of the preparation of the Other Funds Budgets as this information will be <br />needed for inclusion with the preliminary tax statements. <br />Resolution 9730 only lists City Council meeting dates or other dates of significance to the <br />City Council.
